Where are the recorded sessions?
The first time you record a session, Google is going to automatically create a folder in your Google Drive. It will be called “Meet Recordings”, and each time you record a session, the video will go into that folder, as will a document containing the entirety of the chat transcript. I tend to go in and rename my sessions at the end of each day to maintain my drive’s organizational structure, but that is not something that everyone “needs” to do; it’s my personal preference.
I also put a clown emoji in front of the folder (use the on-screen keyboard of a touch screen Chromebook – you’ll see an emoji key beside the space bar just like on a smartphone) because putting the emojis at the start of a folder name pops thm up to the top of the screen for some reason!
